Configuring Traffic Sources:
Here, you configure where the traffic is coming from, that is, the origin of the click.
Sources are nothing more than the channels through which contacts enter the CRM.
To determine the origin of traffic, UTM parameters are used, and this control works through the tags you place in a URL.
In tagging, you add a tag (specific marker) to a link and put the desired source in the address. For example:
When a lead clicks on the link and fills out a form, for example, their source will appear in the CRM. In other words, you will know that they accessed your website URL through Facebook.
In addition to the standard source options, which are Google Ads and Facebook Ads, Instagram , Other traffic and Email Marketing , you can insert others that you use by clicking on “Add” .

? Tip: The Other Traffic option already comes with tagging. It is automated and does not require any specific configuration. When you connect it, it automatically takes the organic traffic that has not been tagged and sends the statistics to the reports.
In the E-mail Marketing option , if you send e-mails through Bitrix24, it is already configured.
To insert UTMs, simply click inside each option (e.g.: Facebook) and insert the corresponding tag.
Deciphering UTM parameters
If you are not familiar with tagging, see below what each of the parameters means:
utm_source: This is the source of the visitor. For example, email or Google Ads.
utm_content: is used to distinguish similar content within an ad. Example: ebook-chatbot
{campaignid}: This is the campaign identifier. It shows the campaign where the ad was created.
{adgroupid}: This is the ad group identifier. It shows the group within which the ad was shown.
{targetid}: is the keyword identifier.
Communication channels:
Communication channels are where leads will be generated. In other words, where forms, chats, and any other means of capturing conversions will be located.
