Interview with Kiabi, champion of social media and influencer marketing

The Kiabi brand has been talking about itself on social media for months, and the proof is that it has become one of the most talked about brands in France over the past year, behind Zara and H&M, on all social media combined. Its rise to power on TikTok and its effective use of Live Shopping explain its undeniable success. There is no doubt that Kiabi is the brand to follow when it comes to influencer marketing!

Caroline , I am responsible for press relations and influence at Kiabi.

Margaux , Community Manager, in charge of editorial planning, animation and moderation on all our platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and TikTok.

What part does influencer marketing play in your overall marketing and communication vp media email database strategies?
We used to have a catalogue, which was discontinued a year ago, and which was a very strong means of communication in addition to television and radio.

We continue to do 360ยบ, but social media is taking on an increasingly important role. 2020 has played a role as a digital accelerator: sales through our website have literally skyrocketed.

We have gained 5 years in our digital financial objectives by being reactive, adapting to difficulties, launching drive, click & collect, and above all being consistent with our values.

What is your vision of influencer marketing?
It is positive and evolving. We are aware that we need to be vigilant and understanding as we pursue our strategy. It is a strong evolution, which is going very fast. Influencer marketing allows us to reach a reliable audience, in a transparent way, while transmitting our values.
