How to optimize based on search intent?

Post by tongfkymm44 »

As I told you before, search intent should determine the type of content you are going to create.

If the keywords have an informative intent, you should write a blog post. If they have a transactional intent, you should create a product page. You get it, right?

But is it really that easy? Well, yes and no. While the evidence tells you to create your content in line with search intent, there is also a downside: the 4 types of search intent are too generic so if we really want to optimize dental email database lists we need to analyze the SERPs in more detail.

I'll tell you how to do it step by step:

1. Check the “reliability of the SERPs”
Google rankings are not static and change over time. If we analyze the top-ranking pages this month with those of the previous or the following month, we will see that it is very likely that the search intent is different. For this reason, it is important to pay attention to the history of your keyword.

2. Make sure your content is aligned with the 3 C's of search intent.
Content type . Refers to the type of content: blog post, product page, landing page…
Content format . Refers to the format, for example: “how to…” guides, step-by-step tutorials, product or service comparisons, reviews…
Content angle . It refers to the value that users give to a particular search. For example, if we search for “how to make pancakes” we can find different search angles such as “perfect pancakes” or “fluffy pancakes” or “traditional pancakes”
3. Get leads from search results and top page rankings.
- Check out the “other questions from users” option in the SERPs

- Analyze whether you have any gaps at the page (content) level or at the domain level. This will help you find out if users expect to find other subtopics on your page.

- Visit the top pages. Nothing will give you more information than the pages that are in the top ranking. In fact, there is no better way to understand what users want to see.

Moral
- Search intent is perhaps the most important factor for SEO optimization in 2019.

- Not giving users what they are looking for reduces your chances of ranking well to almost nothing.

- Even if you are able to "fool" Google for a short period of time with a low-quality or content-poor website, you can bet your last euro that it will discover you sooner or later. It may be tomorrow, or next month, or next year, but when it does, I assure you that you will fall in rankings precipitously.

- Ideally, you should aim for a good ranking that will be maintained over the long term, so make it your mission to give users what they are looking for. Google will most likely reward you for it.

And that's all! And that's no small thing! If you liked the article, you know, give it a like and share it and remember, if you need to improve your SEO positioning and you want us to help you, leave your details here and we will contact you. We will be happy to help you!
