There are currently about 200,000 non-profit organizations in Ukraine, and their number is constantly growing. Almost all of them face the same problems: the need to attract an audience, encourage donations, find donors, and fight for grants and funding.
The Nonprofit department of the Inweb agency advises and trains NGOs on marketing, promotion, and helps them obtain grants. Specifically, I advise NGOs on content marketing and communications. Recently, during a webinar on website content for NGOs, we conducted a survey in which 80 representatives of non-profit organizations participated. They were china rcs data asked to share the questions that concern them most when working with content. Summing up the survey results and based on my own extensive experience in communicating with NGOs, I identified 5 main questions that interest them: why do you need a communication strategy, how to increase awareness of the organization, how often to publish content, how to make a content plan for a blog and social networks, and how to beautifully design blog articles.
In this article, I will answer the first three questions, give advice and examples for anyone involved in non-profit communications. In subsequent posts, I will explain how to create a content plan and how to develop a blog on your website.
