There has been a lot of talk lately about depopulated Spain. Areas of our country, mainly rural, with a low population density. Teruel, Soria and Cuenca lead the ranking of the most depopulated provinces in recent years, with less than 12.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. Making financial services accessible to all people, regardless of where they live, is our priority.
Promoting financial inclusion is and will be the driving force of our present and future strategy and actions. If the migration of the population from villages to cities is motivated, among many other instagram data factors, by the lack of services, at the Caja Rural Group we will direct all our efforts to ensure that it is not due to the financial services that we can offer in these regions of Spain.
Initiatives to make financial services accessible
Since our beginnings, we have worked for financial inclusion, promoting different initiatives . For this reason, we will continue to open offices, install ATMs or bring mobile offices to areas with fewer people, because we want our neighbors to have the option of operating with their bank in person, without having to travel to other locations.
Thanks to the ruralvía mobile app, our digital banking service , we also promote this accessibility. In this way, we bring our main operations and services to a mobile application for those people who do not want to, or find it more difficult, to go to a branch or even use a trusted computer.
